Laudamotion will be flying from Dortmund to Vienna daily as of March 29, 2020. The Austrian Airline is thereby supplementing Wizz Air service on the route as of the 2020 summer flight schedule. Vienna is now already among the most popular destinations from Dortmund. In the first nine months in 2019 close to 81,000 air travellers made use of the direct connection.
Regarding the airline’s announcement to fly from Dortmund Airport in the future, Guido Miletic, the Department Head in Marketing and Sales at Dortmund Airport, says, “We look forward to welcoming a new airline, Laudamotion, in Dortmund. This makes it clear that the Dortmund Airport is gaining in appreciation not only by travellers, but also by airlines. The service by Laudamotion is a good supplement to the connection to Vienna by Wizz Air that already exists.”
The Austrian capital is one of the most attractive metropolitan areas in Europe and it offers a variety of attractions in addition to the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Spanish riding school and Schönbrunn Palace.
