Parking at Dortmund Airport
To park at the Dortmund Airport, there are arround 5,000 parking spaces in different price ranges available. It is important to us that you arrive at your gate relaxed – after all, your trip already begins on the way to the airport. On this page you'll find all of the information and services concerning parking at the Dortmund Airport.
Drivers looking for parking spaces in the most economical category can choose between the car parks P3 and P6. You can reserve your car park directly online.
For the transfer to the terminal from car park P6, a shuttle bus is available for a fee. The journey takes only a few minutes.

Transfer to the terminal: Car park P6 and parking garages P4 and P5 are served by bus line 490. Discounted tickets are available from the car park ticket machines, from the DSW ticket machine in front of the terminal and from the online shop for booking parking spaces.
Please note that the Priority car park has been closed as of November 2022 , the car park can no longer be used.
The following parking prices apply to the regular entrance to the multi-storey car parks.

Parking hints and special information
If you would like to bring someone to Dortmund Airport in your car or pick them up at the airport, we recommend using the Kiss & Fly zone. The parking spaces are located directly in front of the terminal entrance on the departures level. Short loading and unloading is free of charge. Please note, however, that parking here is also subject to a charge.

Passengers with disabilities can park free of charge in the designated spaces in car parks P1 and P2. You must display a disabled badge with the code "aG" (severely disabled), "Bl" (blind), "H" (helpless) or "B" (constant assistance required).
Important: The free car park exit ticket will be issued at the information desk on the day of your return flight. You will need to show your flight ticket. Please be aware that we cannot reimburse you at a later date.
For this reason, online booking of the parking space is unfortunately not possible.Please note that the multi-storey car parks (P1, P2 and P5) have a maximum head clearance of 2 metres. There are no maximum head clearances for the outdoor car parks P3 and P6.
In car park P1 (arrivals level/level 0) there is a parking space for electric cars with a charging point provided by innogy/RWE eMOBILITY. When you use the RWE charging point, you have to pay the normal airport parking charges.
Note: the charging columns are currently not in operation. The responsible operator is working on it.
There are parking spaces for women on all levels of underground car park P1 (levels 0 to -2) next to the entrances to the terminal.
There are car park payment machines in the terminal (arrivals level/level 0), in car park P2 and at the stops for the car park shuttle bus. As you only have around 15 minutes to leave the car park after paying, we recommend using the payment machines in the car park where your car is parked.
The following types of payment are accepted:
Coins and notes, EC cards, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). The car parks are open for 24 hours a day.Customers of our online shop for parking-slot booking at Dortmund Airport can easily manage their existing booking themselves via the self-service area.
If, for example, your travel plans have changed, you can still rebook your parking slot up to 2 hours before entry.
Booking a parking slot via Dortmund Airport’s online shop takes just a few clicks. Subsequent changes to your booking are just as easy via the self-service area of the online shop.

The multi-storey car parks/parking slots at Dortmund Airport can be used at any time. Entry and exit, as well as the use of the automatic pay stations, is possible 24 hours a day, every day.
The 490 bus operates daily between car parks 5 and 6 and the Terminal. A single ticket costs € 2 per person (children up to the age of 6 travel free of charge).
Tickets for transfer to the car parks are only available here:
- during online reservation of the parking spaces,
- at the car park payment machines,
- at the ticket machines in front of the Terminal (West entrance/exit - departures level).
Please note: VRR fares do not apply for journeys between the multi-storey car parks and car parks.This also applies to the €49 Deutschlandticket.
Parking P3 is currently not served by any bus transfer.
