Eurowings announced just a few days ago that the airline would station a second aircraft at Dortmund Airport. This is associated with a significant expansion of the existing flights, especially for tourist destinations. In addition to Munich, Split and Mallorca, the airline will also be flying to Alicante, Kavala, Malaga, Heraklion, Naples and Catania from June. Now another destination will be available: Rhodes.
Travellers will arrive on the largest Greek island every Monday afternoon and Friday morning from 2 July. The Mediterranean climate on Rhodes makes seaside holidays possible in both the high and low season. The island is not only one of the sunniest regions in Europe, but also offers many scenic highlights: Fine sandy beaches alternate with massive mountains and forests. Wine connoisseurs, surfers and history buffs will also enjoy the island.
