In a retro design inspired by the sixties, a holiday plane of the German airline Condor took off for the first time this morning from Dortmund Airport, destination Palma de Mallorca. For the airport, the first flight not only marks the starting point of three additional weekly flights to the Balearic island, but also the beginning of a new partnership and thus another airline for passengers at Dortmund Airport. Condor flights to Palma run every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
With this new addition, three airlines will now fly from Dortmund to the sunny Spanish island. Condor complements the existing Mallorca offer from Eurowings and Ryanair, so that Palma can be reached up to twenty times a week. “We are delighted to be able to add Condor as another airline to our airline offering,” said Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services + Marketing + Sales. “The Palma connection is a good start to the partnership, as Mallorca has been one of the most popular year-round travel destinations at Dortmund Airport for years – both for package and individual travellers. In the long term, we would like to expand the Condor route network at Dortmund Airport in line with our travellers’ wishes.”
The popular holiday paradise of Mallorca has something to offer for all types of travellers: Beach vacationers can enjoy the numerous turquoise-blue bays in the summer months with temperatures averaging 25 degrees, sports enthusiasts will find a variety of hiking routes and an action-packed range of activities, and party lovers can head to the party mile directly in the capital.
Condor flights to Palma de Mallorca can be booked via the airport website or directly through Condor.
