As the peak summer travel season approaches, Condor is set to expand its operations at Dortmund Airport, concentrating more on one of the top holiday hotspots. From 16 June 2025, the much-loved Balearic island of Mallorca will become more accessible with daily flights from Dortmund courtesy of Condor. Having offered three weekly services to the Spanish island last summer, the airline will recommence operations next May post-winter break, initially with three weekly flights, gradually increasing to seven flights per week by mid-June.

Condor focuses on a destination that has been a preferred choice for Dortmund-based travellers for years. In the past year alone, nearly 200,000 passengers opted for the Palma route.Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services, Marketing & Sales, expresses his satisfaction with the announcement: “Mallorca remains one of the most cherished destinations for German tourists. We are continually striving to meet the high demand and are thrilled to have added capacity with Condor.” In October, Ryanair announced flight cancellations across Germany, impacting the Dortmund-Mallorca route. “The extended offering compensates for those frequencies lost elsewhere, allowing us to continue fulfilling our passengers' travel desires,” says Guido Miletic.

Alongside Condor's flights, connections from Eurowings enhance the comprehensive service to Palma.During peak season, Dortmund Airport expects approximately twenty departures each week to Mallorca's capital.

Tickets are now available to book directly through Condor.
