Wizz Air once again increases frequency to Chisinau

Wizz Air has announced that it will increase the frequency of flights from Dortmund to Chisinau, going from four to seven weekly departures. Starting 2 March 2026, there will be flights every day of the week to Moldova's largest city.
Chisinau Airport is situated approximately 14 km south of the city centre, making it the largest airport in the country with over 3 million passengers annually. The capital, rich with Ottoman and Russian heritage, offers visitors a wealth of attractions. Key attractions in Chisinau include the neoclassical cathedral built in 1836 and the notable Ciuflea Monastery.
Guido Miletic, Head of Marketing & Sales, appreciates the airline's announcement: “We are delighted that Wizz Air is responding to the high demand on this route by increasing the number of flights to and from Dortmund. This rise in frequency allows our guests to enjoy greater flexibility when planning their journeys.”
