Dortmund Airport welcomes the 2026 Summer Season

The summer season is beginning at Dortmund Airport with the first warm days and the clocks going forward next weekend. The summer flight schedule is valid from 29 March to 25 October 2026 and will delight travel enthusiasts with a broad selection of 38 destinations in 18 countries.
There are new and exciting things coming with the start of the summer timetable: Wizz Air will launch three new connections from Dortmund on the first day of the season – to London, Wroclaw and Târgu Mureș. Going forward, London will feature daily on the departure board, providing an ideal service for a city break. Bratislava was introduced as a new addition to the flight schedule on 17 March. Not only is the Slovakian capital a worthwhile destination in its own right, it is also a practical starting point for excursions in the region, for example to Vienna, which is just around 60 minutes away. At the end of June, Wizz Air will be adding another destination in Romania, Oradea, which will expand its programme with a sixth new flight this year.
Aside from the new connections, flights to Tirana, Varna and Ohrid are among the regular destinations in the route network and are particularly popular in summer. Albania has increasingly become a significant tourist destination in recent years. Responding to this trend, two daily flights are scheduled to connect Dortmund with Tirana, around 30 minutes away from the Adriatic coast.
Turkey is another important market in Dortmund's route network. SunExpress connects the airport with Antalya, Izmir and Zonguldak. Flights to the Turkish Riviera even depart daily. Pegasus Airlines adds even more to the Turkey services by offering a direct connection to the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. Arriving there, passengers will find numerous opportunities to transfer to other intercontinental holiday destinations.
Palma de Mallorca remains one of the most popular places for holidaymakers. Eurowings and Condor operate up to 21 weekly flights to the south. Several times a day, travellers have the opportunity to swap everyday life for Spanish sun and spend relaxing days on the Mediterranean.
Whether it’s a seaside resort, city break or more active holidays, the summer schedule at Dortmund Airport has the right destination for all travellers.
