New direct connection to London

Whether you're visiting Buckingham Palace, taking a ride on the London Eye, or strolling along the Thames, all of this will be easily accessible from Dortmund starting March 2026. From 29 March 2026, Dortmund Airport's route network will be expanded to include another crucial connection to the capital. Five times a week – on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays – Wizz Air will take travellers to London Luton Airport in just under 70 minutes.
The British metropolis is among the most visited cities in the world, delighting millions of travellers each year. “With the new route to London Luton, one of Europe's most diverse cities returns to Dortmund's flight schedule,” announces Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services + Marketing & Sales. “With an initial frequency of five weekly flights, and increasing to seven from mid-summer, we provide tourists and business travellers with great flexibility to travel to the UK conveniently and swiftly.”
