New regulation for hand luggage

With immediate effect, travellers must present all electronic devices with dimensions above those of a pocket-size mobile phone (e.g. cameras, hair dryers, shavers etc.) must be separately presented for examination at the security checkpoint. Previously, this regulation only applied to tablets and laptops.

Furthermore, we ask our passengers to plan sufficient time for travel to Dortmund Airport. Please take into account the boarding-card and security checks, as well as passport control on flights to countries not belonging to the "Schengen Agreement".

We generally recommend arrival at the airport 90 to 120 minutes prior to departure – you should arrive at the gate at the latest 40 minutes before your flight departs. If you arrive later than this, the airline can refuse to allow you on board.
