37 destinations in 22 countries can be reached directly from Dortmund

Flughafen dortmund wintersaison 2018 2019

The clocks have been running differently again in Germany since 28.10.2018. It’s winter time! Just in time for the time change, Dortmund Airport also started the winter season 2018/2019 with 5 new or returning destinations.

Vienna is back!

Connoisseurs, sophisticated people and winter sports fans take note: There will be a direct connection again from Dortmund to Vienna starting 25.11.2018. Wizz Air will be taking over the route offered by Eurowings last year. It takes less than two hours to get from Dortmund directly to the Austrian capital on flights offered several times a week. Get inspired this winter by the Danube metropolis with its highlights such as the Vienna Ice Dream from 16.11.2018 to 03.03.2019.

Wizz Air continues to expand its route network

There is good reason Wizz Air is one of the fastest growing airlines in Europe. The Hungarian airline's route network is becoming increasingly dense. That includes its routes from Dortmund Airport, Wizz Air’s most important German location. In the winter season 2018/2019, the low-cost carrier will offer four new connections from Dortmund in addition to the existing ones.

Beginning tomorrow, 30.10.2018, the first flight will take place between Dortmund and Tirana. The capital of Albania is a colourful insider tip. Two more routes will be starting on 15.12.2018: Dortmund - Pristina (Kosovo) and Dortmund - Debrecen (Hungary). And one day later, on 16.12.2018, the connection to Chisinau (Moldova) will open. Wizz Air will then be offering a total of 27 routes to 13 countries from the Ruhr region airport.

5 airlines, 37 direct destinations, 22 countries

Dortmund Airport also has some popular destinations on its timetable for this winter. EasyJet and Ryanair will fly regularly from Dortmund to London Luton and London Stansted. The Ryanair schedule also includes: Krakow, Málaga, Mallorca, Porto and Thessaloniki. Eurowings continues to fly to Mallorca and Munich, while SunExpress is offering flights to Izmir. The five airlines together fly to 22 countries. They will connect Dortmund with 37 direct destinations in winter 2018/2019.

PDF timetable now updated weekly

As usual, all connections and flight times can be downloaded from the Dortmund Airport website in the PDF flight plan. And from now on, the timetable will be even more up-to-date. It will be updated not just monthly but weekly. You can view even short-term changes conveniently on your computer, smartphone or tablet.
