The Hungarian airline Wizz Air is expanding its services from Dortmund Airport: From May 20, 2021, passengers will have the opportunity to fly from Dortmund to Sarajevo on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. After Tuzla, it is the second city in Bosnia and Herzegovina that travellers will be able to fly to directly from Dortmund. These flights can already be booked.
Guido Miletic, Director of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport, is pleased with the airline’s growth trajectory: ‘Wizz Air already significantly expanded its flight routes last year by opening its base in Dortmund. The fact that a further destination has now been added shows the airline’s commitment to the future at Dortmund and its wish to continue to expand at this site. For our passengers this means they will enjoy even further flexibility and a greater selection of attractive destinations.’
