Wizz Air flying to Mallorca

Airline responds to high demand

From 1 April, Wizz Air will fly from Dortmund to Mallorca every Thursday and Sunday. The airline is responding to high demand by including the Germans' favourite holiday island in its flight schedule.

“The Wizz Air service is a very good addition to the existing Eurowings service which is operating the route almost every day from 25 March,” said Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport. “With the launch of the Wizz Air route, passengers now have the opportunity for a spontaneous trip during the Easter holidays. In the past, nearly all flights for this period were already sold out.”

Mallorca is no longer considered a risk area. This means that passengers no longer need to take a test when they return and there is no quarantine requirement. But passengers must still carry a current negative PCR test result for entry to Mallorca.
