The Hungarian airline Wizz Air has already opened most destinations for booking from Dortmund Airport. The airline plans to fly directly from Dortmund to 45 destinations in 24 countries from April to October. ‘We expect the number of destinations to increase over the coming weeks and months. But a wide variety of destinations are already available to passengers’, says Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport.
‘Naturally, we want to give our passengers maximum flexibility, especially during these times,’ explains Wizz Air spokesman Andras Rado. Thanks to the additional offer WIZZ Flex, every flight can be changed or cancelled up to three hours prior to departure.
Sun worshippers as well as active vacationers and city lovers will find what they are looking for in the broad offer portfolio. Experience Iceland’s exciting culture in Reykjavík, visit the Acropolis in Athens, enjoy a perfect pizza in Sicily, discover the Greek islands or relax under the sun on one of the many endless beaches of Fuerteventura - Wizz Air makes it all possible right from Dortmund Airport throughout the summer season.
If you are looking to experience a particularly rich and varied vacation you should take a closer look at Cyprus: The landscape of the third largest Mediterranean island is absolutely inviting - not only for sunbathing. The tall mountains and forests also attract active vacationers. If you are rather drawn to urban settings, you will feel right at home in Vienna, the lively and exciting capital of Austria, or in Budapest with its plentiful sights. Long-established destinations in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia are also back on the flight schedule.
