Today, the Münster district government approved the second amendment of the Flughafen Dortmund GmbH air traffic permit. The point of departure for this was the application submitted by Flughafen Dortmund GmbH on 30.09.2022, with the aim of rectifying the shortcomings identified by the Münster Higher Administrative Court in its ruling of 26.01.2022.
Parallel to this, Flughafen Dortmund GmbH had filed an appeal with the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig against the non-admission of the amendment. The Federal Administrative Court dismissed this appeal in its decision of 08.05.2023.
Due to the permit amendment, the current operating hours continue to apply unchanged.
