Important news for city travellers and outdoor fans: In autumn, they will have another destination to choose from from Dortmund. From 2 September, Wizz Air will be setting course for Brasov in Romania. Passengers will then be able to fly twice a week from Dortmund Airport to the largest city in Transylvania.
"We are delighted to be able to offer our passengers this diverse destination," says airport CEO Ludger van Bebber. "Brasov is the eighth destination in Romania that Wizz Air offers from Dortmund," van Bebber continues.
Brasov, surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains, is located in the heart of Romania. Travellers can expect a well-preserved medieval townscape at this flight destination. In particular, the historic old town with its market square and colourful baroque buildings lend the city its charm. Brasov is also the ideal starting point for the skiing and hiking areas in the surrounding area.
