Pegasus increases flight frequency

Daily departures from Dortmund to Istanbul

Pegasus Airlines from Turkey is further increasing the range of flights on offer from Dortmund Airport to Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul. The route was introduced in December of last year, and the number of weekly departures was increased from three to five at the start of the summer flight schedule in April. To low-cost carrier is now increasing frequencies again for the peak travel season. From 2 July 2024, there will be daily flights between Dortmund and the Turkish metropolis.

Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services + Marketing & Sales, welcomes the airline’s announcement: “We are excited about Pegasus’ additional offering. A connection to Istanbul has long been desired and we appreciate all the more that the popular destination can now be reached even more flexibly.” With this flight, Dortmund Airport is not only offering access to one of the most popular tourist destinations: the Sabiha Gökçen hub also allows access to a variety of other attractive destinations.

The additional flight choice can already be booked via Pegasus and the airport website and is initially valid until the end of the current summer flight schedule.
